Title: The Last Stark
Fandom:
Iron Man
Prompt/Claim: #17:Wide Awake; 20_fics , Table 4, Iron Man: Tony/Pepper
Summary:
For so long, he had known that he would live and die the last Stark. Now, well, it seemed things had changed. Little Stark Jr. was growing right now in Pepper's womb.
Rating:
PG
Pairings/Characters
: Tony/Pepper
Length:
1,300 words
A/N:
I suppose I've taken a two-month (almost three-month) break from working on my Iron Man claim, but don't hold it against me! I've been drawing and NaNoWriMo-ing, then took December to finish the novel that I started in November. I now have a complete (except for editing) 90,000-word novel. Huzzah. And now I may return to fanfiction. :)

So, in the manner of upcoming posts, you guys can (hopefully soon) expect:
-Iron Man Pepperony fic for my 20_fics claim (I started a ficlet in late October right before NaNoWriMo began but couldn't finish it yet due to NaNo)
-More of Phoenix (I'm still working away at the very end of it...)
-probably more Burn Notice fic after tomorrow's season finale

But as for right nowwwww, even though probably no one is paying much attention:

Title: Life
Fandom: Burn Notice
Summary: "I remember the first time I realized that life with Michael Westen was not a normal life." Fi reflects back on her life with Michael. Fi's POV.
Rating: G
Pairings/Characters: Michael/Fi
Length: 1,900 words
Genre(s): angst, romance
A/N: Haven't written Burn Notice fic for a while! Well, haven't written much period other than NaNoWriMo recently (thank GOD November's over... I was about to die). But I do love my Burn Notice fic, and it's back on right now so YAY. :) A little bit different kind of piece for me. I don't usually write stuff like this, but I do like writing reflective-type fics and examining characters. The idea just hit me the other day, watching an episode, that Mike and Fi? They'd never be normal. Hence, Life.

Continuing in the portraits-of-people line... I'm already working on Johnny Cash now. And might I say, I think this is my best work yet. I'm hoping Johnny Cash turns out half as well. :)

This is being (hopefully) entered in the Jacksonville (Fla.) Fair. Crossing my fingers and hoping it fairs well (no pun intended), even though the prize is only $5. ;)

As always, comments are love!

Oy, sorry, this took longer than expected. College sucks your life up sometimes and spits you out exhausted.

BUT, I have been having good Tony/Pepper vibes. Last week, Netflix sent me IM2 on the *day* it came out (which is totally unheard of). So! I have now seen both movies, YAY. :)

Then I was watching it (for the second time) with my sister and friend, and halfway through the movie, they go, "Oh, wait, Tony and Pepper aren't actually together together? Like... involved?" They both assumed they were together since the end of the first movie. PROOF of our ship right there. When people assume like that, somethin's clearly going on. ;)

Anyway, all of this being said, today is a two for one special in compensation.

Title: Simplicity
Fandom:
Iron Man
Prompt/Claim:
#10:Simple; 20_fics , Table 4, Iron Man: Tony/Pepper
Summary: "I should have known better." She needed time, space, simplicity. Running home, putting half a country between them, was a natural step. A simple step. But even out here, California could still reach her.
Rating:
PG lite
Pairings/Characters
: Tony/Pepper
Length:
3,200 words
Genre(s):
angst
A/N:
Companion piece to "No Good On My Own." From more of Pepper's perspective, those events and the continuation. It's better to read that one first, for clearer understanding, though I think this can be read alone. That being said, some (not much) is slightly repetitive if you've read the first. Also, I don't know if we know where Pepper is from or if there's a widely accepted fanonical hometown, but I decided for the purposes of this, I liked Oklahoma. It came to me randomly, and after some state research, it worked. Also, I shamelessly borrowed a movie line or two and worked it my own way. ;) Also also, whoever can spot the classic country music reference herein gets major brownie points. :D

Finally, the action begins!

"Kate Bronson-Davies leads a double life as Agent Phoenix, an operative for a secret government bureau of people with superhuman gifts. Few know it exists, and to the outside world, Kate is just a postal inspector in Atlanta. But when a routine trip to the airport to pick up her cousin and her cousin’s fiancé turns into a run for their lives, Kate is forced to push her special skills to the limit and turn to anyone who can help, including her estranged ex-husband."

Title:
Phoenix (working title)
Chapter/Part: THREE
Previous: Chapter 1
, Chapter 2
Chapter summary:
"It was probably six miles into the drive that she noticed it.There was a black Escalade with darkened windows in her rearview mirror. She drove a black SUV. She was trained to pick them out."
Rating: PG-PG-13 (haven't decided on which side it falls yet)
Genres: thriller, action, science fiction, romance
A/N: Longggg chapter! Where all of the fantastic action begins. :D I actually started writing the story from this chapter but went back and added the previous two chapters in order to lay down all of the groundwork leading up to this. This is the part that I dreamed about and thus the story came from.

I've been working on this the past couple of days during my downtime working in the newsroom. Much to my amusement, someone saw it, shrieked about how good I was, and went to go get the art editor. Then people asked why I was working in the newsroom at all. O.o I'm not that good, y'all. I draw for my own amusement and for gifts for others. I'm not an artist or anything. Anyway, it was an amusing incident.

Title: The Finite Application of Rules
Fandom:
Iron Man
Prompt/Claim:
#1:Ever; 20_fics , Table 4, Iron Man: Tony/Pepper
Summary:
Pepper Potts was a woman built on rules. She didn't wear white after Labor Day, she didn't dance much in public, she didn't go for men shorter than her and she didn't break rules. Ever. …unless Tony Stark was involved.
Rating:
PG (a few lowly cusswords)
Pairings/Characters
: Tony/Pepper
Length:
740 words
Genre(s):
romance
A/N:
Ever since watching Iron Man 1 for the first time a month ago (I know: How long I waited! Don't judge!), I have been smitten by the Pepperony dynamic. Never-ye-mind about my serious literary studies, freelance journalism and unfinished novels, my brain is determined to write shippy fanfic. Even though I haven't even seen the second movie (again, don't judge). This considered, forgive my mistakes. Also, because I am a journalist, I do that whole serial comma thing where I leave it out before and in a series, and I follow really strict (and weird) AP style rules. I know it bugs people. Sorry.
